The lengthy week journey displaying Nigerian beauty and brains at the 34th Most Beautiful Girl in Nigeria pageant culminated in a glittering finale on October 21, 2022, at the Eko Hotel and Suite in Lagos. Ada Eme, the stunning Miss Abia, emerged as the crown bearer, stunning her way into a chance to represent Nigeria in the 71st Miss World pageant, defeating 36 other contenders in the process.
WAW detergent, a key pageant sponsor, was also looking for a new WAW queen, whom they crowned during the event. Miss Plateau, Grace Yakubu, served elegance and flair as she walked away with the Miss WAW title, a million naira cash award, and a year-long ambassadorial contract with the company.
She stated her delight, “I’m thankful to WAW for providing me with a platform and a voice.
Thanks to the sponsors, the whole MBGN 2022 was an incredible experience, and WAW played a significant role in ensuring that I had the greatest time possible.
I’m excited about all I’ll be able to achieve and the people I’ll be able to help because of the opportunity WAW has provided me.”
“At Expand Global Industries Limited, we’re devoted to building platforms for individuals to achieve their goals and affect society,” said Rajat Kapur, Chairman and Managing Director of Expand Global Industries Limited (EGIL), a Henkel subsidiary.
“This episode of MBGN included a slew of clever, humorous, and talented women ready to make a difference in their communities.
Miss Grace Yusuf’s selection as a WAW ambassador demonstrates her magnetic personality and apparent dedication to her aims and objectives.”
“Many people still believe that beauty queens are just concerned with their appearance.
WAW believes that beauty queens are more than that, and with Miss Yusuf, we have another opportunity to express it to the world.”
Grace Yusuf joins the Henkel ambassador family, which includes famous artists such as the 2021 Nigerian Idol winner and runner-up, Kingdom Kroisede and Akunna.
