Nigeria’s Tiwa Savage is scheduled to take the stage at the historic coronation of King Charles III of the United Kingdom.
King Charles III, who is expected to ascend the throne after the death of his mother, Queen Elizabeth II, last year, will be crowned at Westminster Abbey on Saturday, May 6, 2023, along with his queen consort, Camilla.
May 7th, 2023 will be the day of the coronation concert and Big Lunch.
According to the Telegraph UK, Tiwa Savage will perform alongside Steve Winwood, DJ Pete Tong, Lang Lang and Lucy, Paloma Faith, and Olly Murs at the coronation concert.
The invitation makes the vocalist the first Nigerian performer to perform at a foreign regal coronation.

She is the only Nigerian among the handful of African performers selected to perform at the historic coronation.
