Manchester United’s victory over Fulham was snatched up in the last seconds.
In an exciting last Premier League game before the Qatar World Cup, Alejandro Garnacho sprang from the bench to score a goal in the 93rd minute.
Bruno Fernandes’ low cross was headed in by Christian Eriksen, who slipped in to score at the back post for his first United goal, giving the visitors the lead early on.
Dan James of Fulham then came off the bench to score an equalizer in the 61st minute off a low cross from Tom Cairney.
18-year-old Garnacho sprinted through and beat Bernd Leno with a shot into the bottom corner just as Fulham believed they had done enough to earn a draw from the game.
With a game still to play, United moves up to fifth position with the victory, 11 points behind leaders Arsenal and three points behind fourth-placed Tottenham.
