The management of Jabi Lake Mall in Abuja’s Utako District has reopened its doors to consumers and employees.
In an Instagram post on Friday, the mall declared its reopening and asked for assistance from security authorities conducting searches.
The decision to reopen was based on an advise from the Federal Government, leaders of security agencies, and the Federal Capital Territory Administration, according to the Management.
According to press men, the Mall had previously suspended operations on Thursday in the interest of the safety of its customers and employees.
“To all our loyal customers,” the message began.
Following assurances to the general public from the Federal Government, Heads of Security Agencies, and the Federal Capital Territory Minister, we are pleased to inform you that the Management of Jabi Lake Mall has reviewed all necessary information and has decided to reopen the Mall for trading as of today, Friday, October 28, 2022.
“Centre Management will put in place security measures to guarantee everyone’s safety and maintain the greatest level of vigilance.”
We urge that everyone be patient with the security personnel while they undertake the required searches to ensure a secure workplace.
