Nigerian musician Wizkid has promised to vote out all of Nigeria’s old politicians in the 2023 election.
During an interview with The Guardian in the United Kingdom, Wizkid, who is notoriously reticent when it comes to discussing politics in Nigeria, made the unusual remark.
Nigerians should “go wild on their butts this election,” the singer of “Essence” remarked while encouraging them to speak out against government officials.
This is the moment when the elderly men finally lose their authority.
They should retire to a retirement community for the elderly and take it easy.
The Grammy winner has warned that the upcoming general election would be used to force out of office any Politicians who are 65 or older.
According to him, only the successes of certain individuals in the fields of sports, entertainment, and humor are worthy of national celebration.
He said, “There’s nothing to applaud [in Nigeria] except that [Nigerians] are fantastic people in music, sports, comedy, and entertainment in general.
I’m happy to see young Nigerians making waves in the IT industry in countries all over the globe.
My pals are incredible, and they’re accomplishing incredible things.
That’s it, however,” Wizkid said.
